JJ Wilde Biography
JJ Wilde sings from down deep, telling her soulful stories in a voice that embraces the legacy of Rock n Roll, and brings it into the 21st century.
Hailed as "a voice that commands the stage .... an undeniable rock star in the making," by BBC Radio 1's Jack Saunders, Canadian Nashville-transplant JJ Wilde is the breakthrough voice of a movement of independent female artists who have characterized Rock n Roll music over the past decade. She has been recognized internationally, performing, writing and recording with artists including Marcus King, Teddy Swims, Kiss, Nickelback, City & Colour, The Glorious Sons and more.
Wilde won the 2021 JUNO Award for "Rock Album Of The Year," (the first female to win in the category since Alanis Morrisette 25 years prior), led by her smash single "The Rush". Not one to rest easily, JJ Wilde has followed up with four subsequent top-5 radio singles including the recent single “Hands”.
Catch her on the road supporting Marcus King on the US dates of his Mood Swings tour in support of her latest EP, “Best of Me (Part 1)".
