Cadaveric Crematorium

Biography: Formed in 1996, after several line-up changes, the band, featuring Parla (drums), Dr (vocals), C (bass) and Willi (guitar) recorded the 1st self-produced demo-cd in 1998 (“Cadaveric Crematorium”), which got them good reviews from everywhere and gave them the chance to play many gigs in their hometown (Brescia). In 1999 C left the band and John filled in the low-end duties. In the summe r of 2000 Jad joined the band on guitar, making the band a quintet. A few months later, with said line-up, the second self-produced demo-cd “Cry Now Motherfucker” was released. This record reached its purpose immediately, receiving very good reviews on magazines and webzines. From then on Cadaveric Crematorium name became to circulate in European underground metal scene, thanks also to their wild stage attitude and their song-writing, which allowed them to break the typical “cliché” of Brutal-Grind band. This was he reason why, in 2001, the band got involved in their first European tour with Belgian Prejudice and Sacred Sin (Por): the tour included France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In 2002 Cadaveric Crematorium won the national contest Headbanging as one of the best underground Italian metal band, contest managed and promoted by Hard Cash agency. This was another good goal for the band, since because of this award, they started to play gigs in Italy and abroad with bands of the likes of Necrophagist, Cephalic Carnage, Malevolent Creation, General Surgery, Goratory, Ancient, Mindsnare, Undertakers, Bastard Saint, Nefas, Snp, Cripple Bastard, Prejudice, Anthropofagius, Natron, Kataklism, Nyctophobic, Fleshless, Hypnos, Mastic Scum and many more. In the winter of 2002 the band hit the road again for their second European tour (Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Germany and Denmark). In the summer of 2003 John left the band and Necrom joined in as new bass player. The same year saw the band signing their first deal with the independent Austrian label Resound Gr!nd rec. and Cadaveric Crematorium recorded their first Ep at Nadir Studios, produced and engineered by Tommy Talamanca (guitarist of the legendary Italian death metal band Sadist ). In the summer of 2004, in the same studios, the band recorded their debut album scheduled to be released around September 2004. Another European tour (Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany) kept the guys busy. In 2005 Cadaveric Crematorium broke the deal with Resound, because of total lack of information and communication and because of several delays in the release of the album itself. The sound is very personal and embraces technical brutal Death Metal US style (Suffocation, Dying Fetus), Grind-Blastbeats, classical Thrash-banging riffs, some melodic overtures and even old style Hardcore, every element balanced to create a killer wall of sound. The Italian label The Spew rec. signed with Cadaveric Crematorium and in fall 2005 “Serial Grinder” was finally released. The record got a really good feedback from press reviews and metalheads. It sold out and was reissued in the first months of 2007). Several gigs followed to promote the record and in 2006 the band took part at the Metal Battle contest. In the summer of 2006 Cadaveric Crematorium played Grind Your Mother, Evolution Festival and Wacken Open Air. In the summer of 2007 they played Heineken Jammin’ Festival with bands of the likes of Slayer and Iron Maiden. Their next release, “Grindpeace” was released in 2008 for the uprising Italian label Punishment18 Records. The album confirmed once again the personal music style of the band and consolidated their role of one of the most insane bands of the Italian metal scene! During 2008 and 2009 Cadaveric Crematorium played many shows as supporting act for Vomitory, Brujeria, Necrophobic, Illdisposed. In August 2009 guitar player P-Jad left the band due to personal reasons. At the end of 2009 after several months of auditions P-Jad was replaced by Mirco, a good rhythmic guitar player. The debut of new guitarist took place in December 2009. The band played the festivals A Cold Night in Hell supporting Obscura. During 2010 Cadaveric Crematorium started their live activity playing a lot of shows and festivals to support Napalm Death and Suffocation. Between the end of 2010 to February 2011 the guitar player Mirco and the drummer Parla left the band due to personal reasons. Gerro, a young brixian drummer join the band and Cadaveric Crematorium decided to continue as a quartet. The third full length continues released in May of 2012 and called One Of Them. This is a concept album about Zombies, Protected and Mutants. .... In June of 2012 the band play supporting Sepultura. In July of 2012 Gerro leave band to become Savage Messiah drummer and Ale Tinti ( ex Illogicist , Solid Noise and Eviscerate ) helps temporarily the band in search of replacement . At the beginning of 2013 , the drummer founder of the band, Parla, rejoins the band with new enthusiasm !!. Actually Cadaveric Crematorium are looking for show and tours for promotion of One of Them release…. update February 2013 Biografia: La band nasce nel 1996 e dopo alcuni cambi iniziali la line up si stabilizza con Parla alla Batteria, Dr alla Voce, C al Basso e Willi alla chitarra. Con questa formazione nel 1998 registra il primo Cd autoprodotto, (intitolato Cadaveric Crematorium) che ottiene le buone recensioni e permette alla band di suonare in un discreto numero di concerti. Nel 1999 il basssista C lascia la band sostituito da John. Nell'estate 2000 P-jad si unisce alla band come secondo chitarrista e pochi mesi più tardi esce il secondo Cd “Cry now motherfucker„ anche questo autoprodotto. Il lavoro riceve dappertutto ottime recensioni e la band comincia ad essere conosciuta nell’underground italiano ed europeo ..... Inoltre con una line up stabile la band riesce a crearsi il loro proprio stile personale distinguendosi dalla massa di band definite Grind-Brutal e improntando la propria musica mescolando tutte le influenze personali dei componenti del gruppo.….Nel settembre 2001 la band suona il primo tour Europeo a supporto della death metaller band Prejudice (BE), e dei Sacred Sin; in quell’occasione la band suona in Francia, Spagna, Portogallo, Germania, Svizzera ed Austria. Nel 2002 la band partecipa e vince il concorso a livello nazionale ‘’Headbanging contest’’ promosso ed organizzato dall’agenzia Hard Cash di Milano… Tale successo si dimostra un buon punto di partenza e la band partecipa a tantissimi concerti assieme a moltissime bands, sia in Italia che all’estero, tra le quali: Necrophagist,Cephalic Carnage,General Surgery, Ancient, Mindsnare, Undertakers, Bastard saint, Nefas, Snp, Cripple bastards, Prejudice, Sacred sin, Anthropofagus, Natron, Malevolent creation, Goratory, Kataklysm, Catastrophic, Nyctophobic, Fleshless, Hypnos, Mastic scum, Kenos, Freund hein etc etc. Alla fine del 2002 la band suona in secondo tour europeo suonando in Svizzera, Austria, Belgio, Germania e Danimarca. Nell’estate 2003 John lascia la band sostituito dal nuovo e attuale bassista Necrom. Sempre nello stesso anno viene proposto il primo contratto discografico con l’etichetta underground austriaca Resound Gr!nd. A tale proposito viene registrato un mini cd presso gli studi Nadir di Genova, prodotto da Tommy Talamanca (conosciuto anche per essere chitarrista e tastierista della metal band Sadist). Tale produzione esce nel marzo 2005 risulta autoprodotta e viene integrata da una serie di brani live registrati dalla band durante i concerti eseguiti dal 2003 al 2005. Il debut CD viene pianificato per il mese di settembre 2004 e per questo motivo nel luglio 2004 la band registra sempre presso i Nadir studio il materiale per l’uscita discografica. Viene mantenuta anche l’attenzione live suonando dappertutto in Italia e all’estero: la band ha la possibilità di suonare nelle più grandi città europee come Berlino, Barcellona, Vienna, Copenhaghen ed anche in paesi quali la Slovenia e l’Ungheria…. Nel 2004 completa il terzo tour europeo con le band austriache Freund Hein e Mastic Scum. All’inizio del 2005 che la band interrompe il rapporto con la Resound Gr!nd (per inadempienza del contratto stesso) e firma con l'etichetta italiana The Spew Rec. per l’uscita del primo full lenght ‘’SERIAL GRINDER’’, la cui release viene fissata nell’ottobre 2005. (dopo oltre un anno dalla registrazione dello stesso) . Il disco riceve ottime recensioni e buona critica, oltre che buone vendite un pò ovunque. Tra il 2005 e il 2006 vengono suonati parecchi concerti a supporto di ‘’Serial Grinder’’ e nell’estate del 2006 la band vince il concorso nazionale Metal Battle e arriva seconda assoluta al concorso mondiale Metal Battle. La band inoltre partecipa ad alcuni dei migliori festival metal tra cui: Grind Your Mother (con Sinistre e Napalm Death), Evolution Festival 2006 (con moltissimi artisti metal di primo piano) e WACKEN Open Air Festival WOA 2006 (il più importante festival metal europeo). Nel giugno 2007 la band partecipa al Heineken Jammin Festival, concerto che vede la partecipazione tra gli altri degli Iron Maiden e Slayer. Nel settembre 2007 la band ha pronte nuove canzoni e inizia le registrazioni del secondo full lenght. Le registrazioni si svolgono presso i Solid Groove studio mentre il mixaggio viene effettuato presso i MusicWareHouse studios ad opera di Alessandro Tonelli. Nel frattempo la band firma un contratto discografico per la pubblicazione del disco con l’etichetta PUNISHMENT 18 RECORDS , con distribuzione Masterpiece e Andromeda. Il disco intitolato ‘’Grindpeace’’ viene pubblicato il 28 aprile 2008 e riceve subito recensioni positive sia italiane che estere. Nel 2008 la band partecipa ad alcuni festival metal tra cui: Evolution Festival 2008, WolfsRock Festival 2008 oltre a suonare in molte date live promozionali dell’album. Nel 2008 e nel 2009 la band prosegue con una buona attività live che la vede partecipare ai concerti di Vomitory, Brujeria, Necrophobic, Illdisposed. In agosto 2009 il chitarrista Giorgio per motivi personali lascia la band e dopo qualche mese di audizioni viene sostituito alla fine del 2009 da Mirco giovane promettente chitarrista ritmico. L'esordio del nuovo chitarrista avviene in dicembre 2009. La band partecipa al festival A Cold Night in Hell di supporto agli Obscura. Nel corso del 2010 i Cadaveric Crematorium iniziato la loro attività live suonando concerti e festival come supporto ai Napalm Death e Suffocation. Tra la fine del 2010 e febbraio 2011 il chitarrista Mirco e il batterista Parla lasciano la band cosi come in gennaio 2011 per motivi personali. Parla viene sostituito da Gerro, giovane batterista e la band decide di continuare come quartetto. In Maggio 2012 la band pubblica il terzo disco intitolato One Of Them , si tratta di un concept paradossale di Zombies Mutanti. In Giugno 2012 la band supporta i Sepultura nell'unica data italiana. In Luglio 2012 Gerro lascia la band per suonare nella band inglese Savage Messiah e viene sostituito da Ale Tinti ( ex Illogicist , Solid Noise and Eviscerate ) che aiuta temporaneamente la band per la ricerca del sostituto . All’inizio del 2013 il fondatore e batterista Parla rientra nel gruppo con nuovo entusiasmo!! Attualmente la band e’ alla ricerca di shows e tour per promuovere il disco One of Them …. update Feb 2013 Eat And Hate Human Race!
