Owls of Neptune are on tour and will be at Tomcat alongside Katanak and News To Me. Doors at 7pm. Hailing from Brisbane, their captivating blend of intricate melodies, hypnotic rhythms, and heartfelt lyrics has earned them a reputation for leaving audiences spellbound. Since forming in late 2022, the quintet has cultivated a love for pushing the boundaries of their music. When they're not busy debating who has the best hair or who can drink the most coffee, you might find them jamming in the "newsroom" (aka their practice space). There, they explore the melodic potential of each song through improvised jams before deftly crafting hook-lined vocal melodies and intricate riffs.
