Alvas Showroom proudly presents a double shot of Prog: an evening with Spock’s Beard and The Ryo Okumoto Band. Join us for this very special double-header at Alvas Showroom in San Pedro California. Each band will play for 1 hour. Ryo’s band will play songs from the well-received current solo album “The Myth of the Mostrophus”. Help us slay the monster! Spock’s Beard will play a selection of their very best songs from the last 30 years, spanning 13 albums. You do not want to miss this special night of shows! Progressive rock is alive and well and ready to rock Southern California!

Spock's Beard Biography
Spock's Beard is a progressive rock band formed in 1992 in Los Angeles by brothers Neal and Alan Morse. Neal (keyboards/vocals) and Alan (guitars) were joined by fellow musicians Nick D'Virgilio (NDV, drums) and Dave Meros (bass), and were later joined by veteran keyboardist Ryo Okumoto.
