Absolutely one of the most intimate emotional evenings of raw sincere heart felt songs by Amy Helm and her band in the loft of the barn owned by Linford and Karin of the musical group Over the Rhine. The venue is more than something special and attracts a patronage of listeners every artist is hoping to perform for that wants their music and lyrics really heard!!!
Amy’s voice and musical performance never disappoints!!! As the daughter of one of the ‘Musical Greats Levon Helm’, and the influence of that awesome musical environment , and it’s myriad outstanding musicians growing up, she has become the epitome of a hardworking songwriter and performer. Daniel Littleton her guitar player of the Handsome Strangers is a talent not to missed with one of those totally unique hard to describe styles all his own. THX to all who attended!!!!

Her voice, first. Amy Helm has a voice of a thousand ways, twists and turns, ascensions and intentions. It soars, flays, pleads, celebrates, guides, heals, teaches, and above all makes you feel. On September 6th she debuts her new album, Silver City, full of personal stories and tales from the women in her family. Catch her when you can, because Amy Helm is in constant motion, curating monthly Helm Family Midnight Rambles at Levon Helm Studios, teaching, playing benefit shows and performing with the band Ollabelle. She's a woman of seemingly boundless energy and passions. Through her music, Amy Helm shares the lessons she’s gathered from a remarkable life as an artist, mother, daughter, and as someone who has worked, evolved, and persevered.
