About this concert
First Unitartian Universalist Society, 152 Pearl Street
Emmy-nominated cellist and composer Zoë Keating sets the celestial stage with her hauntingly beautiful soundscapes ahead of the eclipse. Having performed at the Unitarian Universalist for Highlight, the City’s New Year’s Eve celebration, in 2022, the classically trained innovator fills the vaulted space with intricate, electronically manipulated compositions further enhanced by Alex Reeves of Vanish Work’s mesmerizing projections.
The San Francisco Weekly describes her performances as "Swoon-inducing. Like taking a triple-shot of Absinthe before stepping outside of the bar just in time to see the sun exploding.”
Zoë has collaborated with Jeff Russo, Amanda Palmer, Imogen Heap, RadioLab, Mark Isham, Curt Smith, and many others. Born in Canada, she established her career in San Francisco before choosing Burlington as her home in 2017.
Opening this show is DJ collective Roost.World, who present a DJ set of ambient music.
