About this concert
For the opening night of the Easter Uprising we have Angerland returning to Trinity after an immense show at Christmas, with their Killing Joke-esq thundering rock n roll revue.
Support from fellow ex Shrinking Violet Mick Forster with his whimsical take on classic punk rock covers with a few originals thrown in for good measure.
After the bands DJ Dave Cording spins party classics til 3am and Teresa Testa & Chris Perdue spin alt rock, 60s garage, punk, ska & new wave downstairs.
Bar til 3am.
Donations for entry to the bands. £5 for the club night.

Angerland Biography
A heavy punch of rage and roll hailing from the British capital.
Born from the ashes of former outfit 'Fuckshovel', London based Angerland deliver a heavy punch of rage-n-roll, reminiscent of the likes of Killing Joke, Ruts DC and New Model Army. Having emerged in 2018, the members of Angerland are no strangers to the live music scene, having toured with the likes of Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols, The Germs, and Slim Jim Phantom both in the UK and as far as SXSW prior to their current reincarnation.
Angerland's debut 2020 EP 'The Clown King' featured 3 tracks 'This Blood Machine', 'A Comedy Of Hate' and 'The Clown King' with music video to accompany, a tribute to the Clown King himself; Donald Trump. A mesmerising and encapsulating reflection of the worldwide circus of leaders. Branded by Facebook as political slander, restricted by YouTube as indecent, the video for 'The Clown King' couldn't have been more appropriate, watch here: https://youtu.be/uDY6ym454IY
2022 then encountered the release of a post pandemic tribute to the suffocation and 'carnival chaos' of 2020 that carries on through to today, rallying a carousel of graffiti'd up mask-wearers from across the globe to tell their story. 2020 VISIONS: https://youtu.be/3276J8avhR4
With numerous shows in the capital under their belt, Angerland have so far hit the stage at iconic venues across London, in addition to a double-performance at the prestigious Camden Rocks Festival in 2019, performed at "Grenfell Tower Unity In The Community", and have in recent months been recording their debut album with Rohan Onraet, the fifth Angerman... release date TBC.
