Electroman brings you the best of Tokyo Electronic Music Scene. This time, Lycoriscoris, mostly known for his releases under global label Anjunadeep, will be doing his first show in Tokyo in two years, supported by Electroman's classics Emergency Oxygen and Nao Right Now. ◾️ Lycoriscoris ◾️ 2008年春、東京は練馬区のアパートでポストロックユニットとして活動を始めるも、どういうわけか現在は岡山県でエレクトロニカを栽培中。 プロデューサー、ライブアクトのYunosuke Senooのプロジェクト、Lycoriscoris。 ドイツのレーベル、KOMPAKTのKXシリーズから作品をリリースした後イギリスのAnjunadeepのコンピレーションアルバムに参加。これを皮切りに、同レーベルよりEPと2枚のアルバムをリリース。作品はBBC、DUMMY、KEXP、NTS Radioなど世界中のメディアでで紹介された。 近年ではSeven Villas、NORR、Just This、Reflections、Moderna Recordsなどのレーベルから作品をリリース。クラブやバー、野外など国内外のギグにライブセットやDJセットで出演している。 シンセサイザーやドラムマシンなどの電子音から生楽器や環境音などの有機的なサウンドまで様々なサウンドを巧みにブレンドし、エモーショナルでノスタルジックなアンビエントミュージックを追いかけて、日本から世界に向けて音楽を発信し続けている。 Lycoriscoris, aka Yunosuke Senoo, is a Japanese artist who’s had a decade long tenure in the electronic music world. In recent years, Senoo has built a cult following as part of a new wave of Japanese producers. His signature blend of organic melodies with intricate sound design have won him support from the likes of DJ Koze, Michael Mayer, &ME and BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart. A multi-instrumentalist, Senoo has played at venues such as the legendary Dommune in Tokyo, And He has played live alongside the likes of The Field and Moritz Von Oswald. His first album was released on an indie label in Japan, and he has since released on Anjunadeep, KOMPAKT KX. In 2018, he released his debut Anjunadeep album ‘Flight’, posititing in the top 5 Electronic albums on iTunes and gained support on tastemaker stations including BBC Radio 1, KEXP and NTS Radio as well as international press support. 2021 saw Senoo release his acclaimed album ‘Chiyu’. The 9-track LP showcased Seeno’s delicate production style and won appraisal from Mixmag Asia, DJ Mag and DJ Times; and gained support from the likes of Nick Warren, Joris Voorn, Hernan Cattaneo and Eelke Kleijn. Using both analogue and digital equipment he consistently pursues an organic soundscape and continues to present his sound from Japan to the world. ◾️ Emergency Oxygen ◾️ 人生という名の飛行機が墜落しているとき一番に必要となるもの。運命の終わりや差し迫った危機を忘れさせてくれる何かとは… 緊急用酸素「Emergency Oxygen」である。 酸素を吸い込むと肺がアップテンポなビートで満たされ、ヘモグロビンと結合し、電子ドラムのような爽快感に包まれる。副作用として体は勝手に動き始め「踊る」という行為が止まらない。ボルテージの高いリズムとレーザーの光に合わせ、酸素は空間の隅々まで広がり、生の火花を散らす。 東京を拠点に活動をするフランス出身のエレクトロ／ハウス・プロデューサー「Emergency Oxygen」 ダフト・パンク、ジャスティス、カヴィンスキーに影響を受け、ライブ演奏のたびに部屋を燃え盛る炎でいっぱいにする。酸素を供給したり、奪ったり… 観客は彼のなすがまま。 As the airplane we call life is going down we all need some Emergency Oxygen, something to make us forget the impending doom, the imminent crash. As you catch your first breath of it your lungs fill up with up-tempo beats, you feel invigorated as it binds with your hemoglobin, pumping on the electronic drum. Dance is an unavoidable side effect, when the voltaic rhythms build and the lasers flash the oxygen expands into any space, ready for a spark. This Tokyo based French electro/house producer influenced by Daft Punk, JUSTICE or Kavinsky fills up any room with enough energy to ignite a blazing fire every time you see him live; however he also knows how to turn down the flame to a pleasant candle light. like bellows, supplying and depriving oxygen, audiences are at his mercy. Let yourself be saved by Emergency Oxygen. ◾️ Nao Right Now ◾️ 東京を中心に活動し、セッションバンド、ミクスチャーバンドを経て10年以上のキャリアを持つ。現在はソロ「Nao Right Now」の他、バンド「MÉLANGE」、「２１８」で活動。 2020年 より一時休止していた音楽活動を再開。「SYNK-W-EE」「RAP MARUYAMA」「JURIUS」「MC Mystie」「DJ SOUL-T」「Tonal」、海外においては NY から「Cal Combs」、イスラエルの「Yonas K Beatz」等のベテランアーティストとのコラボレーションをしている。 Based in Tokyo, Japan, more than 10 years of career as Talkbox Player, after working with Jam session and Mixture band. Currently active as "Nao Right Now" (solo) and "MÉLANGE" (band), "218" (band). 2020, Nao Right Now re-started the musical activities as professional, and collaborating with great and skilled artist such as "SYNK-W-EE", "RAP MARUYAMA", "JURIUS", "MC MYSTIE", "DJ SOUL-T", "Tonal", "Cal Combs", and "Yonas K Beatz".
