Dr. Green

Founded back in 1996 legendary players of Lithuanian DIY scene are moving forward after 15 years break. Baltic ska pioneers, skafunkrastapunk, skacore, skunk are few terms to describe the band. Their lyrics are fueled by angry irony about grey everyday life and fundamental human problems, usually ignored by normal people. Since the beginning they'd toured all around Lithuania and Europe, also run underground culture center GreenClub, organized few open air festivals Darom and other things.

dr.Green had played in small squats/bars/clubs as well as festivals like Kulturschock in Germany, Afryka, Winter Reggae or Festiwal Energii Pozytywnej in Poland, Tabuns in Latvia, No Border Jam in Slovenia or Vega Fest in Slovakia. Greens were honoured to share a stage with such as: Alians, Bora, the Ex, Guts Pie Earshot, Inner Terrestrials, La Fraction, Los Fastidios, NoMeansNo, Oi Polloi, Paprika Korps, Post Regiment, Robotnička, Spitfire, Wasted and others.

dr.GREEN released 4 albums: Ska'n'go (1996), The Sounds of Black & White Radio (2000), Purvas (2002) and Culture Repair (2007). All records were re-released or distributed by various independent labels like Brew Records, Rock'n'roller Editions, QQRYQ Productions, Kablio muzika and others. Culture Repair was released by 4 labels: Zona records (Lithuania), Karma Mira (Russia), Maloka (France) and Nikt Nic Nie Wie (Poland).
