Singer, pianist, and songwriter, LAZZARO has accumulated significant live experience over the years, performing in clubs throughout Italy, including opening acts for Italian and international artists, such as the opening act for Eagle-Eye Cherry's only Italian date last February in Milan.
Lazzaro, the stage name of Leonardo Angelicchio, now debuts as a solo artist with "È ora di andare," a mature and self-aware debut where the legacy of artists like Joe Cocker, Elton John, or Lucio Dalla merges with more modern sounds and atmospheres. Produced by arranger and sound designer Taketo Gohara, "È ora di andare" is a collection of slides that narrate a life filled with passion and vulnerability, alternating between harsh words shouted into the wind and intimate personal confessions where the singer-songwriter bares his soul without trying to hide.
