About this concert
The Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival is a three day award-winning celebration of eclectic arts & music that enhances the cultural experiences in the North Texas region. It draws thousands of people annually and is held the third weekend in May.
For over 32 years attendees have enjoyed a variety of musical acts on multiple stages such as the Methodist Richardson Stage , Karbach Love Street Stage, Cityline Stage; kid’s activities in the WF! Kids area, artistic performances on Patterson & Associates Performance Row, regional cuisine in the WF! Food Court, and shopping with local artisans in the WF! Marketplace. Additionally, the festival offers many programs that recognize and support talented musicians and artists such as Battle of the Bands, Budding Talent Vocal Competition, Student Art Contest, and the award-winning Al Johnson Performing Songwriter Contest. Not to mention the Texas Counter Fitters WF! Art Guitar Auction, featuring acoustic or electric guitars transformed by artists into a creative piece of work, available for purchase. The Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival is produced by the City of Richardson Parks and Recreation Department. Past performers include the Fitz and the Tantrums, Judah & the Lion, Grand Funk Railroad, The Guess Who, Neon Trees, Quiet Riot, The Jacksons, and many more. Get ready to get wild!

Rosco Johnny Biography
Rosco Johnny is a new trio bringing you music in a new way, yet keeping some of the important history of where their influences and sound has come from. From the dusty and sweaty juke joints of the South, to the brawling south Texas bar rooms, to the Cathedral dwellings sometimes just down the road from these establishments, Rosco Johnny embellishes all of the sounds from these places in their music.
