A Walk in the Park brings together thousands of people from all walks of life including those living with Parkinson’s, their families, friends, carers and healthcare professionals working in the field.It creates a sense of belonging and of being part of a community who understand and support each other. Our event is held at the stunning Rond Terrace at Commonwealth Park in Canberra on 19th May 2024. You can choose the 1.5km walk or 5km walk, Nordic walk or run whilst fundraising to support improved services and research for Parkinson’s. You can walk with a support companion if required. The event village includes a vibrant collection of food and beverage stalls, engaging activities and performances throughout the morning.
