About this concert
Vom 09. bis 11. August 2024 findet das 12. Trafostation 61-Festival in Frechen-Grefrath statt.
Es ist ein Rock lastiges, nicht kommerzielles Open Air Musikfestival, das von einer Kerngruppe von etwa 15 Organisatoren und unzähligen ehrenamtlichen Helfern auf die Beine gestellt wird.
Über drei Tage hinweg treffen etwa 800 Besucher auf zwei dutzend nationale und internationale Künstler. Es geht um die Liebe zur Musik, gutes Bier und gute Stimmung!
Das Motto der Veranstaltung ist seit der ersten Ausgabe unverändert und lautet "Von Freunden für Freunde".

Sweeping Death Biography
DARK HEAVY METAL
Out of the shadows of bands repeating themselves and each other SWEEPING DEATH emerged, aspiring artistic individuality. This hunger led to the first EP "Astoria" (2017). With a mix of classic heavy metal and progressive sounds this EP marked the birth of the band. As they released their first full-length album "In Lucid" (2018) the sound evolved and reason by choice and chaos by will inspired 9 tracks, forming a profound sonic manifest. In the year of the plague 2021 a new release awaits its arrival.
SWEEPING DEATH played over 120 shows so far and shared the stage with different international acts. Gigs in Sweden, France, Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic helped gaining a wider audience.
