Beast Killer Biography

Chris Wright(Vocals/Guitar) and Kris Monroe(Drums) started playing together over a decade ago in a few local Cleveland,OH punk and rock and roll bands. Following the pandemic, like many bands, the hunger to play live again could no longer be ignored.... and so began, Beast Killer. Within two months of their first practice in May of 2021, they had a full set of songs and their first show booked at The Five O Clock Lounge. Ears were ringing, sweat was dripping and It wasn't long before their debut self-titled album would be released in July 2022. They mostly played locally and regionally over the next year and a half until Fall of 2023, when their next album was ready for recording. The band managed to sneak in a fuzzed out punk version of Jimi Hendrix's "Manic Depression" , while tracking at Chris Wright's home studio, Rubber Lizard Records. They released that single as a teaser to their upcoming sophomore album titled, "Dystopian Now/Dystopian Me. DNDM is described as somewhat of a Sci-Fi concept album using the ominous terror of the emptiness of space to carry the listener through the darkest moments of the opening tracks to a place of acceptance and contentment floating through the cosmos by the end. With a full sounding, explosive and "commanding of your attention" live show to back it up, Beast Killer is a two piece that consistently gives everything they've got to bring you the most entertaining and ferocious live show they can sweat out.
