About this concert
Ramona and the Sometimes presents a night of music celebrating all kinds of love. Backing band The Lovin’ Forkful will be collaborating with a number of Iowa musicians to cover a wide-ranging variety of classic and beloved songs of love, passion, and heartbreak. Friendly Foreheads will open the show with a brief debut of their 90s female pop covers, followed by Ramona and the Sometimes with a set of originals, we’ll have DJ Susannah spinning choice cuts of vinyl throughout the night, and Annick Sjobakken will be running her iconic photo booth in the back. Lovers and singles alike are welcome. Skip the expensive, stressful dinner reservations and come be a part of this unique and lively experience with our wonderful community.

Ramona and the Sometimes Biography
Ramona and the Sometimes is a Des Moines, IA based five-piece pop rock band led by multimedia artist Ramona Muse Lambert. The group relies on accessible hooks and pop song structures with emotionally raw, often positive and uplifting lyrical content, with an emphasis on encouraging creativity and the self confidence to create art. With Muse Lambert’s roots being in visual arts, the project explores a strong visual element, with ever-evolving costume and stage design to enhance the live performance. Following multiple releases from Ramona’s previous iterations, the current lineup released it’s debut LP, "Negative Space is a Positive Thing", in 2017, and the follow-up full length "Did I Miss It? Is It Over?" in 2022.
