KORINTHIANS Biography
KORINTHIANS is a dance-postpunk quartet from Ghent, Belgium. The band’s debut album “Chaos/Control” (2019) provoked the following comments:
“the 2020s version of Editors” (De Standaard, BE)
“postpunk refreshingly different” (Dark Life Experience, DE)
“new-romantic darkwave” (Stereo Embers Magazine, US)
“the guitar version of Depeche Mode (their label boss)
Their latest single “Well” was released on 24 November 2022 by US-based magazine White Light/White Heat, ahead of the sophomore album to be presented to the world in May 2023.
They are inspired by diverse music, such as Goose, Mogwai, The Soft Moon, Boytronic, Igor Stravinsky and sci-fi soundtracks.
KORINTHIANS played at Sinner’s Day Festival, Dark Skies Over Witten (DE), Porta Nigra Festival and Platzhirsch Festival (DE) and was support act of Traitrs (CAN), Invincible Spirit (DE), She Wants Revenge (US) and The Sheila Divine (US).
