Jimmy Warren

For over 25 years Warren has been tearing up the guitar, while sharing the stage with many music legends.  A versatile guitarist who pushes beyond his limits, Warren has been called a "Powerful Guitarist" by Alligator Records President Bruce Iglauer and a "Smooth Guitarist With A Great Feel" by legendary Bassist Chuck Rainey (Steely Dan).  

Jimmy's newest EP "Thunderclap Session" has been called a "Super Solid" project with "Emotional Tone" that makes you want more. Backing Jimmy on new the new EP is Bassist Johnny Griparic. (Slash, Richie Kotzen & Walter Trout) On drums Jimmy recruited Michael Leasure (Walter Trout, Edgar Winter, Buddy Miles).  "This is a good EP, with diverse tunes and solid musicianship" says Jimmy.  

Warren began his journey in the mid 80's sitting in with many of Chicago's southside blues legends.  at the same time he fronted his own trio while performing as a sideman for many other artists.  She shared the stage with the likes of Gary Richrath (REO), Pat Travers, Buddy Guy, Lonnie Brooks, Koko Taylor, Delbert McClinton and many others.

Over the past few years Warren had dived deeper into the guitar and taken instructions from such great players as, Carl Verheyen (Supertramp), Jon Herington (Steely Dan),Shane Teriot (Hall & Oats) and Allen Hinds (MIT Instructor).  His passion for the guitar, music and performing has led to a return to DJ a new podcast called, Guitar Talk with Jimmy Warren.  

Warren hosts many of the top players in all genres from around the world such as; Joe Satriani, Rickey Medlocke, Andy Timmons, Myles Kennedy, Lee Ritenour, Paul Gilbert, Larry Carlton and many others.  Guitar Talk is listen to in over 35 countries and between 150k to 225k listeners per week.  He has the #1 music talk show in Brazil, Israel & Netherlands, while placing in the top 100 in the US and Canada.
