BLVKOUT Biography
The “Top Punk Band of 2023 in Northern California” voted by Bohemian Norbays, Santa Rosa, California’s “Most Demanded Heavy Rock Band”, and “The Highest Grossing Stats on a Debut Single From a Rock Band” in Sonoma County… these are just a few accomplishments that the Northern Bay Area Modern Alternative Band, BLVKOUT has achieved since August 2023.
In 2021, lead singer Jay Williz set out to create a new heavy rock band by writing and producing his own music under the alias “JET BLÆCK”. After connecting with Alè Lovo (Bass) through different projects, the duo became a trio after meeting Anthony Arroyo (Drums). And with multiple songs in the vault, BLVKOUT was the missing piece to bring this Metalcore/Pop-Punk inspired band to life.
Their debut single quickly gained traction after release, with 23,000+ streams in 3 weeks. Followed up with their fan favorite cover of Billie Eilish’s "Bad Guy", drawing 10,000+ streams in one week. Shortly after, BLVKOUT won “Top Punk Band in Northern California of 2023” and was requested to headline their first show as a band at the legendary Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, California. Since then, BLVKOUT has accumulated over 50,000 stream in their debut year while touring across the West Coast of North America & released their debut effort “Oh Well”.
