About this concert
Dan Navarro, Jesse Lynn Madera, and Alice Peacock live in concert at Natalie's Grandview. About Dan Navarro… With a career spanning decades, Dan Navarro is perhaps best known as songwriter for artists as diverse as Jackson Browne, Keb’ Mo’ and Pat Benatar (Grammy-nominated classic “We Belong”). A multi-talented performer, Dan is a singer, a songwriter and a voice actor in major motion pictures, TV, & commercials...including last year's hit Disney Film ENCANTO. Dan’s songs are rich with insight and life experience, delivered straight-up, with honesty, grace and heart, in his moving and expressive baritone voice. Having released a dozen albums (solo & as Lowen&Navarro,) Dan released his first solo album “Shed My Skin” in 2019. Horizon Line, his newest Release, was produced by multiple Grammy®-winner Jim Scott (Tom Petty, Wilco, Dixie Chicks, as well as the first five Lowen&Navarro albums) in a dozen sessions in mid-2021 and a dozen more in spring 2022. About Jesse Lynn Madera… West Virginia-born and Houston-raised, Jesse Lynn Madera is celebrated for crafting musical tales with profound and relatable lyrics while effortlessly blending diverse genres. American Songwriter praised her saying, “Madera’s lyrical and piano-driven songs are passionate and alluring, with a dramatic, ethereal, and almost otherworldly tone. Evoking comparisons to the shapeshifting brilliance of Kate Bush and the confessional pop sensibilities of Tori Amos.” About Alice Peacock… Much has changed for singer-songwriter Alice Peacock since her last solo studio album, 2009’s Love Remains. She’s had three kids, moved to Cincinnati and…gotten 10 years older. “Feel the weight of the world on my shoulders / Am I wiser or am I just older?” she sings on “Dry Spell,” from her new collection, Minnesota. The record suggests that despite her “wondering what all is yet to be,” she has indeed attained a measure of wisdom. She uses the word “midlife” but does not follow it by “crisis.” She views her current outlook more as an awareness of life’s fragility and an appreciation of its sweetness. “Being a parent, I don’t know that I could love any more than I do right now,” she says, “so I’ve also never been more vulnerable. I have everything to lose.” Food & Bar: Our full food and drink menu will be available before and during the show.

Jesse Lynn Madera Biography

West Virginia-born and Houston-raised, Jesse Lynn Madera is celebrated for crafting musical tales with profound and relatable lyrics while effortlessly blending diverse genres. American Songwriter praised her saying, “Madera’s lyrical and piano-driven songs are passionate and alluring, with a dramatic, ethereal, and almost otherworldly tone. Evoking comparisons to the shapeshifting brilliance of Kate Bush and the confessional pop sensibilities of Tori Amos.”

Music industry tastemakers are taking notice of Madera’s distinctive talent. She was recognized by Music Connection Magazine as one of their Hot 100 Best Unsigned Artists. Last year she emerged as a top 12 finalist (out of 6,000 entries) in the Americana category of the Unsigned Only competition due to her compelling performance of "Unchained." Madera’s dedicated fan base is a testament to her captivating live performances, which include sold-out shows at renowned venues like New York’s Bitter End and Nashville’s The Bluebird (where she shared the stage with Dan Navarro, Pete Mroz & Jim Photoglo).

She has had a significant festival presence appearing at Mile 0, 30A, Annapolis Songwriters, and Mile of Music. Madera was selected as a headliner for WMOT’s Finally Friday live concert series in Nashville, further solidifying her musical prowess. A dynamic performer, she has provided show support for acclaimed artists like The Zombies, Navarro, Maddie Poppe, and Mary Fahl. As Madera’s journey in the music scene continues to unfold, she recently released a new single, "Austin'' from her forthcoming album, Speed of Sound. The project was produced by the esteemed Dan Navarro (Lowen & Navarro), seven-time Grammy winner Jim Scott (Tedeschi Trucks Band and Wilco) and Grammy-winner Ryan Hadlock (Lumineers, Zach Bryan), promising a new chapter in her evolving artistry.
She is currently at work on a new album, from which two singles- “Revel” and “¡Hola Papi!” have already been released. Whether performing solo on the piano or with her entire band, Jesse’s live performances have earned her a devoted following in Los Angeles and New York City.
