Nathan Melton

Who is Nathan? He’s just a guy from a small town that grew up singing in church. He never really pursued anything with music more than just the occasional tune here and there until he met his wife. When he joined her family, full of other musicians, it sparked a fire that pushed him to give music more than just a glance. He came right out of the gate giving it his all! In the first year that he began performing live, Nathan tried his hand in a competition in Clemson, SC. After being chosen to compete with 9 other acts, Nathan, armed with nothing but his guitar and all the passion he could give, won the Tiger Town Top 10 by winning the Crowd Favorite vote along with scoring higher than any others with the judges.

Nathan’s soulful country sound brings his love of traditional and modern country together. His influences are Brooks and Dunn, Travis Tritt, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen. However, he’s not afraid to turn it up to 10 with influences from Nirvana and Guns N Roses. You can catch Nathan playing at your favorite local bar just as much as big stage performances at festivals and events. Nathan can bring people of all ages to their feet with music that everyone can enjoy. His own original songs have the blend of his favorite country and rock sounds and tell a story that anyone can relate to with songs like “Crystal Clear” and “Small Town Friday Night”. Nathan offers full band shows and solo acoustic shows for all of your venue needs, whether private or public. He’s also available to do short notice shows within the Upstate South Carolina area.
