The original music of 2in2out is characterized by the blending of traditional elements and contemporary jazz as well as experimentation, which provides space for freeform improvisation and guarantees the uniqueness of each performance. The band was founded by saxophonist Nela Dusova and guitarist Jan Lacina, whose compositions are the core of the repertoire. In 2018, they were joined by the double bass player Klara Pudlakova. At the end of the year 2021 Adam Sikora joined the band on the drum kit. All four instrumentalists belong to the rising young generation of Czech jazz, but already have their place on the scene and are members of several known Czech projects, such as Event Horizon, Uthando and The Abs.
