Esteban Tonio Biography
Esteban Tonio is a Latin folk singer currently living in the US. Esteban writes about personal reflections on life, love, heartbreak, and everyday experiences through his lyrics. As to his music, Esteban plays mainly nylon string guitar, but he also incorporates other Latin American instruments, such as the charango and the Colombian tiple, in his songs.
Esteban has collaborated with other musicians, including Kent Rousseau, Chris Endicott, and Julia Hornberger. These collaborations have allowed him to incorporate the cello, violin, electric guitar, and keyboard into his songs.
Esteban Tonio is one of the co-founders of the Latin-American band Los Chascones Rotos, who recorded their first professional EP in 2017 thanks to the song Gülu Mapu, which won first place in a music contest organized by Casa de la Cultura Anáhuac of the Santiago Metropolitan Park (Parquemet).
