Rick Towe Ministries Biography
I was called to preach in 1980. After going through ministerial training, I pastored, led worship and evangelized in Missouri and Kentucky.
After moving to Point Pleasant, WV in 1989, I pastored 2 churches there for a total of 9 1/2 years, one of which I pioneered, then in July of 1998 I pioneered New Life Church of God here in Gallipolis, Ohio.
God has used me in different phases of the ministry, including pastoring, teaching, evangelizing, and singing in 4 different Southern Gospel groups.
I enjoy preaching the uncompromised message of the Gospel and using the singing ministry to prepare hearts for the Word! I have seen God do miraculous things, and have been a part of winning many souls to the Lord!
On June 30th of 2018, I stepped down from pastoring as God allowed me to travel with Common Bond Quartet and sing bass with them. I have also continued my solo ministry, and have recently released my third CD project called "Church On Bethlehem Road" that you can purchase by visiting the "my music store" page by clicking the link at the top of this page!
My wife Ginny hails from Parkersburg, WV, where she is retired from the government in the Treasury Department. She also plays the piano and has a singing ministry, as well as being Children's Church director, and is editor of the church's monthly newsletter. Ginny is a great asset to my ministry, and loves helping others in their walk with Christ.
Our children include Brian, who is married to Brittany, and has two children, Cooper and Callie, who live in Columbus, Ohio; Brad, who lives in Point Pleasant, WV, and is married to Charity, and they have 3 children...Blake, Josh & Kyleigh; and Wes lives in Huntington, WV, and is married to Sandy. They have one son, Dakota.
