Marina Baranova

I was born in a musical family in Ukraine, and began playing the piano with five. Two years later, I was accepted by music school for talented children in my home town of Kharkov. At age 11, I won first prize at the International Competition for Young Pianists in Ukraine, which preceded my first international concert tour in Finland. My debut album “Marina Baranova plays Schumann”, has been released in 2012, followed by a project with Murat Coskun in 2013, “Firebird”. In 2016 I have released my third album called “Hypersuites”. In the following year, 2017, I presented “Hypersuites Reloaded”. The project was supported by Hauschka, John Kameel Farah and many other wonderful musicians I pretty much adore.
