About this concert
Every last Wednesday of each month, this open mic hosted by Ria Timkin brings together the whole artistic community of Belfast for a night of music, networking and fun! To date, it is the only open mic hosted by a female artist in Belfast, and its whole existence is aimed at championing original music, giving an opportunity to artists of all genres to showcase their talents in the stylish and intimate set up of the Tap Room. Whether you are just starting out or already a seasoned professional, we can’t wait to see your performance!

Ria Timkin is an indie-pop solo artist and multi-instrumentalist who plays as a one-person band. Naturally talented, this sultry Moscovite has followed her heart, digressing from her career in law and her passion for figure skating towards a unique blend of genres and instruments. Ria's mastery of the loop station, beat boxing, melodica, keyboards and harmonised vocal solos has earned her spots at shows across the breadth of the UK with features on national radio stations, including the BBC.
