HEADLINER ANNOUNCEMENT 📢 Your Uprising headliners are KATATONIA! With the seventh installment already full with some big names in Metal and Alternative music, Uprising is thrilled to announce the headliner for Uprising 7. Closing the day on Saturday 25th May will be Melancholic Swedish Metallers, Katatonia. Spanning a thirty year career and eleven studio albums, Katatonia are a band who do not shy away from evolution. Gathering praise in the nineties for their unique Gothic-tinged Doom Metal sound, the band released the genre bending debut, Dance of December Souls (1993) followed by another 9 studio albums and several EPs. After a brief hiatus, the band came back stronger than ever in 2020 with their album ‘City Burials’, a fresh take on the band's legacy. Skip forwards three years and the band have now released their new album ‘Sky Void Of Stars’. With an ever growing fanbase and a huge back catalogue , Uprising are thrilled to host Katatonia's brand of Doom & Gloom.
