Avec son style inimitable et son flow complètement dément, Soom T parcourt le monde depuis plus de 20 ans. Après plus de 160 concerts avec son groupe the Stone Monks, elle décide de prendre un virage digital avec un tout nouveau show qui allie live band et sound system à voir dès mars 2024! Après avoir dévoilé le 13 octobre dernier son nouvel album «The Louder The Better» sur le label X-Ray Production, elle prolonge sa tournée jusqu’en 2024 pour pouvoir le défendre en live sur un tout nouveau show hybride.
Elle est rapidement repérée par le public notamment grâce à sa musique généreuse et son flow incisif et inimitable. Soom T manie les mots avec une incroyable facilité et a toujours prôné la sincérité dans ses paroles. Elle devient alors une artiste incontournable de la scène reggae underground en tant que «Reine du raggamuffin»!

Soom T Biography
Soom T is a Scottish singer of Indian origin. After having campaigned alongside Y Network, a political group of young representatives from Glasgow neighborhoods aiming to change their city, Soom T decides to devote herself to music to denounce injustices and tell her daily struggles through militant and impactful lyrics
She first joined a hip-hop group, released a couple of bhangra songs and then discovered sound systems and reggae culture thanks to different crews and producers
She was quickly spotted by the public, notably thanks to her generous music and her incisive and inimitable flow. Soom T handles words with incredible ease and has always advocated sincerity in his words. She then became an essential artist in the underground reggae scene.
After fifteen years of activity and almost a hundred titles to her credit, she finally released her first solo album “Free As a Bird” in 2015. Will follow, “Ode To A Karrot” in 2017, “Born Again” in 2018 then “The Arch” in 2020.
In 2022, Soom T returns with her new studio album “Good”. An album at the crossroads of reggae, dub and jazz, in which she denounces, as usual, the political and social problems of our time.
