Songs of the South – An Alabama Tribute is an evening full of Alabama songs you know and love with a few surprises and entertaining twists in the show.
Lead by Twin Cities veteran singer/songwriter Shane Martin, along with his top-notch band of musicians: Brad Nelson on guitar, Shawn Kolles on drums, Mike May on bass and Marv Gohman on fiddle, keys and guitars. Martin and his band have shared the stage with numerous national acts and performed at some of the top country music festivals with their infectious, high energy, vocal harmony freewheeling style.
The talented group covers all the signature harmonies of Alabama. Featuring the hit songs “The Closer You Get,” “Love in the First Degree,” “Tennessee River,” “Song of the South,” “Mountain Music,” “I’m in a Hurry,” “Dixieland Delight,” “If You’re Gonna Play in Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band),” “Mountain Music,” “Born Country,” “High Cotton” and many more.

His shows are a lot of fun. Obviously very talented, he puts a lot of effort into entertaining the crowd. From his first album "Light it up" to his current work, his music is enjoyable, his performance fun, and it's just an overall good time.
