His stage name may seem unorthodox but the Urban Dictionary defines 'dirtbag' as: “A person who is committed to a given lifestyle to the point of abandoning employment and other societal norms in order to pursue said lifestyle”. So, becoming one with music, is what Dirtbag Jules is all about!

Not only is he a skilled DJ, but Dirtbag Jules is also an accomplished producer of House and Tech House tracks. With a passion for discovering the underground sounds, Jules infuses his productions with a unique blend of Deep House, Latin House, and Tech House elements. He strives to create a fresh sound that pushes the boundaries of traditional House music and appeals to a broader audience.

Jules is a real ‘crate digger’, always searching for those hidden gems in the world of House music. During his gigs he loves to take the crowd on a journey of sound that contains a blend of Deep House, Latin House, Tech House, and a touch of Nu-Disco. His sets are characterized by a deep and soulful sound that keeps the dancefloor moving.

Jules often plays at clubs or house events that need that real Ibiza vibe. He is also a resident DJ at ‘Airbass Radio’, a House & Dance program from Dutch radio and TV station RTV Parkstad. Whether playing live or producing in the studio, Dirtbag Jules is dedicated to bringing the best in House and Tech House to the masses.

In 2023 Dirtbag Jules en David Sweetfields started the DJ-duo Funky Familia. They take you on a musical journey through the sounds of Latin House, Afro House, House, and Tribal. With back-to-back sets, they'll keep the beats coming all night long. David and Jules are like brothers from other mothers, and their bond is reflected in their music and on-stage energy. In 2023 they are already booked for multiple clubs and festivals (dates and locations TBA).
