Percussionniste, compositeur, arrangeur haïtien-montréalais, Daniel Bellegarde contribue à la scène québécoise depuis plus de trente ans avec d’innombrables collaborations d’artistes aussi variés que Robert Charlebois, Émeline Michel, Bïa, Paulo Ramos ou le Cirque du Soleil.
Après le succès de son 1er album solo, Anba Tonèl, qui a été gagnant du Global Music Awards aux États-Unis et nominé au Canadian Folk Music Awards en 2018 et plus tard au Independent Music Awards en 2019 aux États-Unis. L'artiste nous présente son 2e album, Pastourelle qui nous plonge dans l'univers des quadrilles et contredanses antillaises, métissées de sonorités Celtes et Brésiliennes.

Haitian-Montrealer percussionist, composer, arranger, Daniel Bellegarde has been contributing to the Quebec scene for over thirty years with countless collaborations with artists as diverse as Robert Charlebois, Émeline Michel, Bïa, Paulo Ramos or the Cirque du Soleil.
After the success of his 1st solo album, Anba Tonèl, which was winner of the Global Music Awards in the United States and nominated for the Canadian Folk Music Awards in 2018 and later for the Independent Music Awards in 2019 in the US. The artist presents his 2nd album, Pastourelle, which plunges us into the world of French West Indian quadrilles and contra dances blended with Celtic and Brazilian sounds.
