Verboten Biography
Verboten is the musical project of songwriter Foster Powell, with bandmates and frequent collaborators Amy Anders (bass) and Daniel O’Connor (drums). The three-piece band formed in Vermont and has toured extensively throughout the Northeast USA.
Verboten’s first release, a 6-song album titled Strange Rehab Ch. 2, was recorded and produced mostly solo by Powell in quarantine, with collaborator Jason Burger handling the drum parts. Strange Rehab Ch. 2 released digitally on April 7, 2023, with a limited run of tapes via Ghost Mountain Records.
He currently lives in Bellingham, WA.
