Ween

They rocked their weird little hearts out. Musicianship through the roof and played out on the rooftop at Pier 17. From 7:15 to 10, no break, no phoning it in. Mexican take-out was ordered and the we drifted in the night. Ween, the wife and I thank you very much!

One of my top 5 all time shows and i have been to a ton of shows. The band made it a special evening with playing rare songs and really connecting with a less than happy crowd after standing in a heavy downpour for an hour. Ween was able to shake off the bad feeling in the crowd fast and put on a masterclass of what a profesional preformer is supposed to do to bring a crowd back to forget about anything but what is happening on the stage!!!

Ween is one of the best live acts touring today and they never disappoint. I drove four hours to witness their greatness. Venue was nice but the name of the venue is terrible; the band made fun of the name, Megacorp, throughout their set.

The band was on fire. Captain blew my mind. The venue was pretty cool, my first time there. Parking was a cinch, $10 cash or credit. I was in the cheap seats and had no problem hearing anything.

Ween came through again. Amazing show, great venue. I only wish they could have started later, by that I mean after sunset, only because I think that the visuals, lights, lasers etc. we’re worthless until it got dark. I know that this is a city ordinance and not a Ween decision and if you asked me to choose between a short set after dark versus a full Ween three+ hour set, I think the answer is obvious.

Ween’s performance was incredible as per usual. 5+ stars for the band. It was good to see so many old friends. The venue itself was nice enough, not too big. no bad seats, two huge video screens. Ticket takers, merch table and concession area staff were all very friendly. The venue security was overbearing, rude and thoroughly unpleasant. I paused in the aisle on my way back from the restroom for about 15 seconds to enjoy a particularly good musical moment, and two security guards approached me with an overly aggressive stance and said “Okay sir, we are going to need you to return to your assigned seat”. Sheesh, don’t taze me bro! There were probably 40 venue security people and 12-15 armed sheriff deputies in full tactical gear roaming the venue constantly hassling kids for smoking, vaping, leaning on the railing, dancing too loud, smiling too wide, and who knows what else. I have never seen so many people escorted out of a concert in my 35 years of attending live shows. Definitely affected our overall enjoyment. The entrance to the venue required us to walk through the smokiest casino on the planet. My wife and I had to wear KN95 masks just to breathe. It was like being in a sealed box with cigarette smoke being pumped in. Most casinos, you can see exhaled cigarette smoke instantly disappear into the ceiling ventilation system. At the Hard Rock the smoke just settles around you. It was positively foul. The show ended at 11PM sharp. So did all the restaurants. And hotel room service. My wife and I paid over $500 for a hotel room specifically so we could get room service after the show. Instead we had a stale brownie and bottled water from the coffee kiosk. In conclusion, the Ween concert itself was great. But the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino, their nonexistent ventilation and their overwrought venue security sucks ass. I do not think I will ever return again, my friend.

absolutely phenomenal. staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was also great, but most of all those old men can still fucking rock yo. I got absolutely ween'd and I would do it all over again. amazing show. holy shit. 69/10

So awesome. Cheered on the borderline or no actually full on jazz pianist and the drummer who SANG. I think he sang on one of their album recordings too! Anyway, they shredded on Big Jilm as a rockin’ opener and then Piss Up a Rope came in hard second. Later on, not knowing many of the lyrics to their songs as I wish i did, I was happy to hear The Blarney Stone belt from Mr. Dean Krabs after a couple one-puff cigarettes. Ok I’m listening to Shia Lebouf with my friends rn. This concert inspired me to do something. I see myself in dean’s curls

This was one of the best most delightful concerts we have been to in a long time! Ween had songs to please all their fans and chose some fun and deep cuts from every album, and some very unexpected numbers indeed. The band was having so much fun with the crowd. This is the second time we have seen Ween and they especially delivered at this show. Thank you, Ween! What a fun night out! Very memorable! And thank you Greek Theatre! This is really the best venue in LA!

It’s WEEN !! What more is there to say !!?? Got these tickets years ago, definitely worth the wait !!! I hope they come back !! TY for a great show !!!

Why have I not been obsessively following Ween my whole life? This was my first Ween concert and I was blown away. They started at 7 and played a full 3 hours without pause. I will totally attend any Ween concert coming close to me in the future - I'm addicted to their punk-jam!

My dreams came true that evening. Almost 21 years ago, they were playing in Seattle, and I couldn’t go because I was 8 months pregnant with my beautiful daughter Mia. Little did we know that she too would become a huge fan of Ween. She bought 2 tickets 2 years ago and brought her old mama. We had such a blast singing almost every song, trying to make our way to the stage. The entire show I was saying, “oh my god…there they are.” Thank you for killing it! I ❤️WEEN!

Not as crowded and uncomfortable as the March 19th show. WEEN put on yet another fantastic show! Amazing! This was my 7th time seeing them live and every show has a different vibe! Such talented group. Can't wait to see the show in Austin!!

Ween put on a great rock show but My ex started throwing up so she made me leave the show. Knowing what I know now I should have told her to piss up a rope.

This is so hard to rate. My FAV band & WORST venue. Like last time they played here I had to watch on the tv. If you are under 6ft, avoid the mezzanine. Ppl sat on the floor so they could see the band through the bars.

I met new friends who were nice even though they probably thought I had bought a row’s worth of tickets, vomited out of the Uber and lost my merch. Nothing makes an old man feel young like hearing Tick.

Show was phenomenal! Great Fiesta opener to put everyone in the mood. Great Golden Eel w some really awesome shredding! Argus is always good w Pony and Richard smoker scattered throughout for a laugh while rocking along. Woman and Man may have been the highlight of the evening w it’s amazing Jam section!! 2nd half of the show was also great w multiple deep cuts that kept the jamming going strong. Venue was also very cool and I look fwd to getting there again soon. Only stinker was the encore as it was slow and just not what I was looking for. Mollusk is always a fav but an acoustic encore should be avoided by all bands moving fwd. All was good tho because I got a great at out of the venue. Great evening all around, thanks WEEN!

For the opening show of a tour, they cane out strong and energetic. They said they were making it up as they went, not out of the ordinary but I felt like they faded at the end. For $50 I was expecting two sets, they played one set and an odd double encore if you could call it that.

Was hoping to hear some more hits but it was really awesome they covered "Let's Dance". Light show was definitely cool. Lots of smoke, I think people were up to no good. Probably smoking the marijuana pot.

This was my first concert. The set was well-decided, the presentation was marvelous, and Gener and Deaner still know how to please a crowd. Opening up with The Blarney Stone off of The Mollusk was the most fitting opening, considering the St. Patrick's Day performance. Amazing songs like Zoloft, The Argus, and Dr. Rock were much appreciated to hear being played. The encore closing with Tender Situation off of Pure Guava was a perfect sendoff, not to mention it was Gene Ween's own birthday (Happy birthday, Gener!). Overall, my first concert was one I will not forget, and I hope to see Ween live many, many more times in the future.
