Kougaran Biography
Kougaran began as a project in the Summer of 2010 between brothers Niko and Gino Puzio from Rochester Michigan just north of Detroit. After deliberation of finding members, Kougaran recently added Bassist, Nick Gettleson, and Rhythm Guitarist, Matt Brock!
With a strong start, Kougaran has been building a fan base from all over the country from the east to the west coast. In the early years of building up to what they are today, Kougaran has opened up for a number of national recording artists such as Stryper, Autograph, LA Guns, Trixter, Saving Abel and more at venues from Metro Detroit all the way down to Nashville.
Kougaran has been a part of a number of festivals from Dirt Fest and Rockapalooza in early years to Lapeer Days and Arts, Beats & Eats most recently. Notable benefit supported include Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Rock 4 Tots.
With rock that sticks to it’s roots with a modern twist, Kougaran has a unique rock sound ready to invade your ear holes and has been referred to as “Detroit’s Young Hellions of Rock” By National Rock Review.
