Join us for a celebration of the release of Lisa Bastoni's new album On The Water. This will be a duo show with Sean Staples accompanying. Naomi Sommers opens. Produced by Sean Staples, On The Water was recorded live over the course of three days at Zachariah Hickman's Greedy Beast Studios in Watertown MA. The album features Sean Staples, Rich Hinman, James Rohr, and Chris Anzalone, with special guest vocalists Mark Erelli, Kris Delmhorst, and Rose Cousins. On The Water is Bastoni's first full-length release since 2019's How We Want to Live. Lisa Bastoni is a Northampton, MA-based singer-songwriter known for her "expressive, well-crafted songs" (Glide Magazine). She is a 2022 & 2023 New England Music Award nominee (Roots), 2020 & 2019 Boston Music Award Nominee (Folk) and winner of 2019 New Folk at the esteemed Kerrville Folk Festival. In addition to her work in music, Lisa Bastoni is a painter, multimedia artist and teacher, and mother of two young children. She performs regularly with her partner, multi-instrumentalist/producer Sean Staples, a fixture on the Boston/Cambridge roots/folk scene. Lisa Bastoni has opened for/performed with Lori McKenna, Dar Williams, Regina Spektor, The Secret Sisters, Teddy Thompson, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams, and many more.
