Charleston Jazz Orchestra

The Charleston Jazz Orchestra is delighted to present a highly requested collaboration of big band and vibraphone. Grammy-nominated artist Stefon Harris will headline the evening, showcasing unparalleled dexterity as he draws both whimsical and spirited melodies from his instrument. Harris’ performances are both sonically and visually captivating, and will have you on the edge of your seat the entire show. Stefon Harris is a renowned jazz vibraphonist, composer, educator and recording artist signed to the prestigious Blue Note record label. Harris’ 2003 album entitled The Grand Unification Theory received the coveted Martin E. Segal award from Jazz at Lincoln Center.
