At age 10 she began to teach herself how to play guitar and not too long after began writing and recording original music. Everyday after school, music was the only thing she wanted to do. As soon as she felt confident enough to play out she found every open mic around and dragged her parents all around the state of Maine. Since then her love of music has taken her so many places, from trying out for The Voice in New York to recording her first EP in Nashville. You can now catch Jeanette streaming live on Twitch and playing shows all around the U.S. Jeanette has honed her sound to bring together her love of Folk, Country and Pop Music bringing you a show you won’t want to miss! Katie Dobbins Biography

New England Music Award-winning artist Katie Dobbins captivates listeners with her authentic voice, seamlessly weaving through various styles and genres. Her wholesome yet sultry vocals create a comforting connection, making you feel truly understood in the tapestry of life and love. Carolyn Kruse of Country 102.5 WKLB raved, "Sweet but bold, Katie's voice is reminiscent of one of her heroes, Jewel, but only deeper . . . a fearless spirit with a gentle touch." Dobbins' sophomore album, There Is Light, contains remarkably honest songs that capture seasons of both hardship and joy, but hold onto the hope that light will always illuminate and overpower darkness. There Is Light was selected Album of the Year at The 2019 Limelight Music Awards, and songs from the album hit airwaves on prominent New England radio stations including The River, The Hawk, and WATD. In 2023, Dobbins released her self-produced single When Seasons Change, followed by two studio singles Just Cause I Can, a song about hard-learned life lessons, and Wild, a track inspired by God's wild love. With more music on the horizon, Katie plans to continue to follow her dreams as far as where the clouds meet the sea, as long as you'll keep listening.
