Clay Barker Biography
self-taught musician from Alexander City, AL, Clay Barker embodies what it means to build a brand from the ground up. His musical journey started in 2012 with the launch of contemporary Christian band, Raised in Glory, where he was lead vocalist and guitarist from six years until he decided to make the switch and pursue country music. He has not looked back since, taking the stage throughout the Southeast with artists like Mitchell Tenpenny and Jobe Fortner, and working closely with 65 South alongside artists like Muscadine Bloodline, Riley Green and Tyler Reeve. While Barker is rooted in Alabama, he recently made the move to Nashville in 2019. Since moving to town, he has been able to write with hit songwriters and play Music City’s most popular writer’s rounds throughout Midtown, playing original fan-favorites “Hold My Beer,” “She’s the One,” and his newest single to date, “Your Broken Heart.” To stay up to date on all things surrounding Clay Barker, visit his website at www.ClayBarkermusic.com.
