Mike Dawes is hailed as one of the world’s finest modern acoustic guitar players. He was voted ‘Best Acoustic Guitarist in the World’ by Total Guitar Magazine & MusicRadar twice consecutively, in both the 2017 & 2018 readers’ polls with three additional 2nd place rankings. His 2012 arrangement of ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ was listed among the ‘Top 100 Greatest Acoustic Guitar Songs of All Time’ by Guitar World Magazine in 2023.
His solo music, infused with virtuoso nuances and micro-techniques, has seen him tour almost every continent on the planet. He has recorded with multiple Grammy Award-winning and Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inducted artists, has been featured on international film and TV (including Better Call Saul and Sky TV’s Guitar Star), video game soundtracks (including Ubisoft’s ‘Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown’) and achieved over 100 million music video hits online for his solo covers of songs such as Somebody That I Used To Know, Slow Dancing in a Burning Room, Jump & One as well as his originals The Impossible, Boogie Shred & more.
Additionally, Mike tours as lead guitar player for Justin Hayward, performing The Moody Blues classics throughout the world. He has also teamed up with Grammy-nominated Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo and ex Sunrise Avenue multi-platinum producer Jukka Backlund to form Nik Mystery, a Las Vegas popwave trio. Other collaborators include Plini, Fink, Alestorm & Dr. John. Popular YouTube personality Rick Beato has praised Mike’s work as among the top in the genre.
September 2022 saw the release of ‘Accomplice Series, Vol. 3‘ – a sublime duo EP with the legendary Tommy Emmanuel recorded live in Studio City, Los Angeles. The EP features 5 cover songs from 5 diverse artists. ‘This is so insanely mental and such a massive honour, wow’ – Matty Healy, The 1975.

Christine Lenèe was phenominal. The music she creates with her guitars exceed expectations, her voice is angelic and her stories are engaging. It is a rare oppertunity to be awestruck, this evening I was.
The venue is so well run, welcoming and specifically designed acoustically to hear exceptional music.

Christie Lenee Biography
Singer, songwriter and renowned fingerstyle guitarist Christie Lenée is more than a musician – she’s an experience. Symphonic compositions flow from her fingertips effortlessly, with sound ranging from transcendental folk-pop to virtuosic instrumentals. Christie is often described as ‘Michael Hedges meets Joni Mitchell and Dave Matthews,” integrating melodic pop lyricism with catchy hooks and percussive, harmonic textures. As an Official Showcase Artist at Folk Alliance International consistently logging a number of major festivals, events, opera houses and theaters nationwide, Christie Lenée performs with radiant joy that awes crowds and inspires fellow musicians. She recently told Digital Journal that "years ago, I set my intention to be an inspirational songwriter, though over time I've come to realize that inspiration comes in many forms. Talking about the dark and the light, the beauty and moments of pain are all forms of inspiration."
Christie has shared stages with Tommy Emmanuel, Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band), Andy McKee, and Amy Ray (Indigo Girls) to name a few, who have all raved about her talents (see below). Her first place victory in the acclaimed 2017 International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship has earned her featured coverage in Guitar Player Magazine, Acoustic Guitar Magazine, and Premier Guitar. She has released five albums, with “STAY” one of three finalists for “Best CD of 2016” (Indie Acoustic Project Awards). The album includes three instrumentals produced by Grammy Award Winning producer Will Ackerman, founder of Windham Hill Records, and a music video for the title track supporting a movement on suicide prevention.
Christie’s live shows present a menu of percussive and sonic effects, larger than life sounding instruments, her solo shows embody layers of orchestral elements with a wide array of dynamics and harmonic textures. In 2018 Christie released an arrangement of Ed Sheeran’s “Castle on the Hill” which garnered media attention across several Digital Publications. AXS.com's Jim Wood noted "through the use of harmonics and tapping, Lenée's infectious style utilizes all parts of the guitar and combines elements of folk, rock and pop into one tasty and eclectic musical stew."
With over 12,000 fans on Facebook and nearly half a million plays on YouTube, Christie continues to spread the love of music through live performance, radio airplay and appearances on multiple television stations. Her most recent music video "Call My Heart Back Home" premiered via Acoustic Guitar Magazine. Her next video, “Free World Citizen”, is an anthem expressing the connection of all beings. As an artist, she hopes to bring joy, freedom, and light to the world though the love of music.
