About this concert
The Hank Williams Tribute Show is an annual country, honky-tonk, swingin’, extravaganza of musical friends collaborating to bring to life classic songs from the real roots of country music. Grammy® Award winners Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer host the evening with Robin & Linda Williams, Jake Blount and Daryl Davis. With Patrick McAvinue on fiddle and Alex Lacquement on bass, you’ve got a show that’s sure to have you “honky tonkin’, honey baby!’
Hank Williams was a consummate and prolific songwriter, with hits that included “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” “Your Cheatin’ Heart,” “Lovesick Blues,” and “Jambalaya.” He died at the age of 29, on New Year’s Day in 1953, leaving behind an unforgettable legacy of songs and performances. Hank Williams’ brief career epitomized the country song. This popular show brings together an all-star cast of friends who get together just once a year to celebrate The Father of Country and Western Music!
