Josh Morningstar is a poetic songwriter, singer and guitarist best known for his No.1 hit "Must Be The Whiskey". Morningstar is originally from Funkstown, Maryland, and is one of the area's most prominent country and folk musicians. Known for his musical storytelling and charm, he has collaborated with stars such as Kendell Marvel, Channing Wilson and Autumn McEntire, while also sharing the stage with the likes of Todd Snider, Shooter Jennings and Tyler Childers.

I have seen hundreds of shows at The Blue Door over the past quarter century and I have to say last night’s performance by Mike Viola has to rank in the top 5.
Known mostly as a producer for Mandy Moore, Andrew Bird & Semisonic and now as a singer, writer and producer with Panic at the Disco, his songs are intensely personal, relatable and charming.
And he is the most genuine and personable performer I have ever met
