Sara Berki Biography
In just eighteen months since the release of her debut single, Sara Berki has established herself as one of the most exciting and prolific new artists in Australian country music with a Golden Guitar Award nomination for New Talent of the Year.
Born in Bundaberg, Queensland and raised in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Sara made an impressive debut in 2022, with her first three singles, ‘Fallin’ Off the Heartline’, ‘Good Enough’ and ‘Drinking for Free’ reaching the Top 20 of the CountryTown Hot 50 airplay chart and leading to the release of Sara’s debut EP, ‘Heartline’ in January 2023. Sara’s catalogue has achieved over 2 million streams to date, with all tracks being self-penned and self-funded.
Sara’s latest single, ‘Favour’, became her second Top 3 hit on the CountryTown Hot50 airplay chart, following the success of ‘A Boy That’s Into Trucks’, which spent two weeks at #1 on the CMT Australia Official Top 30 along with two weeks at #2 on the CountryTown Hot50.
Sara has enjoyed a great run of live shows throughout 2023, topped off with performances at CMC Rocks, Groundwater Country Music Festival, the inaugural Ridin’ Hearts Festival (headlined by U.S star, Bailey Zimmerman) and a sold-out show at the Tamworth Hotel during the 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival.
