Discover Zürich's number one blues band, established in 2007 by Dan Elwood, one of the most captivating blues harmonica players in Switzerland and Croatia! We transcend genres and our music spans beyond blues! No matter your musical taste, you’ll find a song to love at our show. Dan E. Čalogović, better known as Dan Elwood, creates music that resonates with a raw, authentic emotion, leaving a lasting impact by infusing every note he plays with the essence of the blues.
Along with covers of classic songs, the band also performs original compositions by Dan Elwood himself. What may initially appear as a modest blues ensemble goes far beyond that. When we perform live, our configurations adapt, ranging from a dynamic trio to a versatile quartet or even a quintet. We proudly boast a broad network of talented musicians who frequently collaborate with Dan Elwood and his Twisted Smoke Band, enriching our musical experiences.
