This show was everything I thought it was going to be and then some! Missy was so engaging and down to earth. She had the whole audience in stitches with her fantastic anecdotes between each song regarding the next. I don’t think I’ve ever felt such a mix of emotions at any concert I’ve been to prior to this one. Hands down the best performance I’ve had the privilege of attending. Her band and backing vocalists are so diverse, playing many different instruments ranging from cello to trumpets.
As for Missy gorgeous voice, it has grown so much since that first album 20 years ago. It’s matured like a fine wine and her range is just phenomenal now. I’ve never been to a seated concert that had everyone in the audience out of their seats for a standing ovation whilst they all took their bow. It was just brilliant and I wish I could go again.
