She has earned raves from Guitar Player, American Songwriter, Guitar World, and Vintage Guitar magazines. She’s cracked the Billboard album charts, and toured Australia, Japan and beyond. Ali has sung backup for Neil Young, and has been songwriting legend Paul Williams’s featured vocalist. She’s had her songs featured in numerous films and hit TV shows. She was asked to write Hal Leonard’s guitar method Guitar for Girls, a book + audio brimming with encouraging pointers, as well as uplifting quotes and remarkable songs from female songwriters in all genres. Ali is also known for her role as lead guitarist in the all-female Aerosmith tribute RagDolls, playing note-for-note renditions of Joe Perry’s iconic but elusive solos. Ali has released four albums, as well as a series of singles from her forthcoming album Slow Burn. Her song “Shut Your Mouth and Do Something” was chosen for Spotify’s "Nu-Blues" & "Women of the Blues” playlists, as well as Joe Bonamassa’s “Cutting Edge Blues” Spotify playlist. In October 2023, Ali is embarking on a 3-week tour supporting legendary guitarist & Fender clinician Greg Koch, and her fifth album Slow Burn is due to be released in early 2024, produced by long-time collaborator and four-time Grammy Award winner Seth Atkins Horan.

She’s toured Australia, Japan and beyond, provided backing vocals for Neil Young, and shared the stage with songwriting legend Paul Williams as his featured vocalist. Also a published author, Ali penned Guitar for Girls (Hal Leonard), an exceptional guitar method book & CD brimming with advice for aspiring female musicians, as well as encouraging quotes and remarkable songs from female songwriters in all genres.
