Introducing the Blue Ridge Fiddle Camp, presented by Casey Driessen, at the creatively inspiring Brevard Music Center in Brevard, NC from August 22-25, 2024. Our inaugural camp features 4 days and nights of immersive fiddle/violin exploration, guided by Casey and a world-class faculty, culminating in a special finale concert in the beautiful Parker Hall. The experience puts a modern spin on long-standing traditions of fiddle camps, focusing on individual musical voice through the exploration of style, rhythm, and technology. By embracing both tradition and innovation, Blue Ridge Fiddle Camp invites all adventurous and open-minded players of the instrument around the globe—of any style or number of strings, acoustic or electric—to come together and shape the future of bowed string playing.
