What fans are saying
September 10th 2024
India Electric Co. get better with every show. With just a few festival sets since their “Pomegranate” album launch show in April, this was a very tight performance, which the excellent audience at the Live Room thoroughly enjoyed. The set heavily features the new album, alongside a few perennial favourites that they dare not leave out. A first play of the track “Balancing Act” accompanied new favourites like “Glass Houses”, “Cascade” and “After the Flood”, alongside “Parachutes”, “Heimat”, “Eyes and Tears”, this time on mandolin and violin, and “Without Lisa”, with which Cole Stacey and Joseph O’Keefe kick off the second half of the show before they are once again joined by drummer Russell Field for the remainder of the set.
There are tickets for most of the remaining shows on the tour which resumes next week, which no-one will regret buying.
