Een muzikaal museum. Noemt ze het zelf. Harpiste Lavinia Meijer. Een van de spannendste musici van onze tijd. In een hele reeks ongetitelde voorstellingen bouwt ze aan een alomvattend kunstwerk. Vanuit verschillende invalshoeken. Met verrassende verbindingen. En kruisbestuivende input. Elke keer een andere discipline. Voor deze editie, Untitled 3, heeft Lavinia aangeklopt bij enkele prominente cabaretiers. Freek de Jonge en Brigitte Kaandorp, dat kaliber. Hun inbreng vertaalt ze naar haar snaren. Hun ervaringen verweven zich met haar muziek. En een keur aan beeldend kunstenaars maakt daar weer aansprekende projecties bij. Het uiteindelijke doel: erachter komen in welke stijlperiode we nu leven. Hoe deze tijd in de kunstgeschiedenis gedefinieerd zal worden. Een pracht van een project. Lavinia Meijer is meer dan alleen een geweldige harpiste. Met Untitled is ze curator van een bijzonder fijnbesnaard museum.

Lavinia Meijer Biography
Dutch - South Korean, award-winning harpist Lavinia Meijer is one of the most diverse harpists of the 21st century. After her debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York in 2007, she is invited regularly to perform as a soloist in Europe, Asia and America. In 2009 she was awarded the Dutch Music Prize, the highest distinction by the Dutch Government for a Dutch classical musician. Meijer is passionate about broadening the possibilities of the harp. Her affinity with the music of Philip Glass and her intense groundbreaking renditions of his music have mesmerised audiences across the world. Her albums Metamorphosis/The Hours and The Glass Effect interpret works of Philip Glass, a process Glass himself was involved in. Their meeting marked the beginning of a new musical journey for Lavinia. Her albums are released worldwide (Channel Classics, Sony Classics) and have been rewarded with an Edison Award and a golden and platinum-status.
