Ron Keel Band will kick off their 2024 tour dates with a headline concert at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood on Saturday, April 6th. This celebration marks the first L.A. show in over a decade, the 40th anniversary of his band Keel’s debut (April 1984), and the release of the new album KEELWORLD which hits the streets March 29th. The set list, as always, combines the 80’s Keel hits (“The Right To Rock,” “Because The Night,” “Tears Of Fire,” “Rock N Roll Outlaw” etc.) with recent cuts like the band’s 2022 Top 40 hit “When This Is Over.” For shows like this, Keel also pays tribute to his metal roots with Steeler and Black Sabbath. “I couldn’t have scripted it better,” Ron explains. “Most people know my history, and to kick off 2024 at The Whisky, on sacred ground, is a fantastic opportunity to come full circle. Who says you can’t go home?
