About this concert
Celebrate Christmas in the beautiful chapel of St Katharine’s with a concert featuring singers from The Spirituals Gospel Choir at St Katharine’s.
There will be a mix of traditional carols to sing together as well as Christmas songs.
The traditional Christmas readings will be heard as well as a Christmas message and prayers led by the Master of St Katharine’s. Roger Preece.
Tickets are free though we are welcoming donations.
We will also offer a drink and nibbles following the service.

The Spirituals Choir Biography
The Spirituals were formed in October 2020 by music artist Junior Garr and Arranger/Conductor Marsha Morrison breaking all boundaries. The Spirituals have already released 2 EP's with a third released under an APPLE EXCLUSIVE in October 2022. They have televised performances filmed at iconic venues such as Lambeth Palace and St. Paul's Cathedral and have featured performances at 2022 Olympics and Wembley Arena and a debut Christmas event at Union Chapel.
Defining their niche, The Spirituals began by reimagining spiritual anthems for the Black History Project. Their single "Wade In The Water" from this first EP has gained millions of views worldwide on YouTube and paved the way for future projects and reimagined songs.
