About this concert
Singer songwriters Andy Ruddy and Serious Child reunite for a special evening of live music at Stroud Village Hall. The pair released the acclaimed album Talk About The Weather in 2021. The album was written via a series of Zoom calls in the heart of the Covid 19 pandemic and was nominated for Fatea Magazine’s album of the year for 2021 shortly after its release.
Andy Ruddy recently released his first solo single since the collaboration album and Serious Child has recently released the single and EP, ‘Light A Candle’, raising funds for the charity Save Ukraine. Both artists will perform solo sets before joining forces to play their collaborative works.
“ these two write about Britain today in a way which is almost tactile and they do it with wit, style, intelligence and bags of melody.” – ☆☆☆☆☆ Spiral Earth
